Before competing for Miss Rodeo Texas, I was honored to have won the Miss Rodeo Jasper Title in May 2013.
It was wonderful to be able to come back this year to support this hard working Rodeo Committee and to pass on the crown to another very lucky young woman!
Ready for Grand Entry at another awesome Jasper Lion’s Rodeo!
The Jasper Rodeo is a huge community event for this beautiful East Texas Border town and they bring in the best of the best to put it on… Bennie Buetler & Son Rodeo Company and one of my favorite PRCA Announcers, Wayne Brooks. I have had the pleasure of working with and getting to know both Bennie and Wayne during my time at Rodeo Austin and on many occasions throughout this past year, so walking into the arena and seeing them both was once again like coming home. I was welcomed with Handshakes and Hugs and after a quick catching up we got right to work because after all the show must go on… and with Wayne and Bennie, it’s going to go on time! 🙂
The Miss Rodeo Jasper Contest could not take place without the hard work of this amazing woman, Mrs. Gail Kemp. So blessed and honored to have her as our friend and “Queen Mom”
The Jasper Queens love our sponsors! Thanks to “Holy Smoke BBQ”!
What a great group of Texas Ladies!
Congratulations to all the girls who competed and to your 2014 winners!
Carrying on the tradition of signing the chaps before passing them to the new queen. I’m so honored to have been a part of this wonderful organization and the Jasper Rodeo Family!
I was fortunate to win the Miss Rodeo Jasper title in May last year which was right before I competed for Miss Rodeo Texas, so although I did not wear the crown and banner of the Miss Rodeo Jasper organization all year long, I want them to know that they have been an instrumental part of my year and I appreciate them so very much! I especially wanted to personally acknowledge and thank Mrs. Gail Kemp, Danielle Kemp and your family for everything you have done for me and for your support throughout my year. I love y’all and I am so glad that I had this opportunity to get to know you better!
Congratulations to your new Miss Rodeo Jasper, McKenna Green and welcome to the Jasper Family! ~Steph~
