Show and Tell with Tess

One of the really cool things about being Miss Rodeo Texas is that every day is a new adventure!

DSCN0391SURPRISE!!!!

I must confess that I never expected that my MRT journey would allow me to be the center of a precious little girl’s classroom Show and Tell, but like I said… Every day in this journey is an adventure!  Tess’ grandmother is a member of the South Texas Cattlewomen’s Association and after seeing me at the San Antonio Rodeo, it was her wish to bring me to school to be her Show and Tell for her class, because Tess loves Rodeo and Rodeo Queens.  How cool is that?!? She is definitely my kinda girl!!!

Talk about a “captive audience”… these kids were awesome and had a ton of questions… My favorite of the day was “Do you carry a revolver?”  You just have to love the honesty and genuine curiosity of kids!  But then again… doesn’t ever Texas Cowgirl carry a revolver!?!?!?!? (LOL) 🙂

I’d like to thank the very kind staff of the Acorn School, Jo Mrvichin, Tess and her family for allowing me to be a part of their special Show and Tell day.  It is a special memory that I will treasure.  Keep smiling Tess and I hope you know that you made my day special too!

From a Very Blessed, Miss Rodeo Texas
